Oh hooray! Went for another short trip again before that tedious moment starts.
(actually this's a procrastinated blog post, we went on 13-14/8/2013 and it's already September now, MY BAD =(( )

And no doubt, went there together with my favorite people for 2 days 1 night.
Since there're six of us, we rented a whole chalet.

Our chalet! 2 rooms with 3 beds on each. there're toilet, bathroom and a kitchen too.

We have always always wanted to pay a visit here since nowhen 'n we finally did it.

How could Kuchingites living in Kuching for 20 years yet never go there huh? *shame shame* LOL

The main purpose of us going there was to jungle trek! (And of course, take a look at the famous seastack which resembles the look of a cobra rising from the sea)

Woke up super early (around 7am, okay lah, at least I think it's early LOL) to take a breakfast together with the gang first before heading to the destination.

For your information, the car trip took less than 1 hour (approximately 30 minutes from Kuching) to reach the Bako jetty. You may park your vehicle there without any charges apply.

Entrance ticket : RM10 per person (adult)

To reach the Bako National Park, the only route/way is to take a speedboat which takes 20 minutes.

RM47 per boat and they only allow a maximum of 5 pax.

Yes the price stated is only 1 way!

You'd have to settle all the payments first upon departure.

Oh of course you may try to swim across the river through the sea to reach there despite the fact that there're crocodiles inside the river LOL

scenery from the jetty to the national park. one of the things i always enjoy watching is to see the muddy river water changes to crystal clear blue sea water. =)

If you're planning for a 2-days-1-night trip, 'n planning to trek to take a look at the seastack, it'd be better to trek on the first day instead of on the second day since the check-out time is FREAKIN' 11am.

Arrived at the park around 11am. You may leave your baggage at the lobby store room after registering.
After preparing, we started our trek HOORAY!

we trekked and trekked and trekked. seriously, the path was so naked that most of the time it's not covered by trees. so smart people, please do not dress like what i did. =.=

and please do not worry about the trek, it's as easy as ABC. trust me k?
i hardly sweat during the trek so Leslie and I at last ran. *crazy*

however, the beginning of the trek does have shades.

The map stated that it'd took us 1 and a half hour to reach the viewpoint yet we only took 1 hour!! So proud baybehh *wink*

There's a route to reach the ground (a beach), try to search for it to have fun at the beach.

the weather was extremely warm that day! with scorching sun some more, so we didn't swim in the sea.

as i always say i have nearly all sorts of animal phobias, but this's one of the exceptions.
i touched them and i allowed them to crawl on my skin *so proud*

so cute so irresistible!! i wanted to bring them home but i know i'd better leave them alone LOL

after that, we went back to our chalet to prepare the private barbecue night thingy.
you may catch up a boat by the shore but make sure it's not too late as the boatman will leave around 4pm.
and payment is required. so we walked back HAHA

met something naughty on the way back. there're COUNTLESS of them but they won't attack if you don't provoke them.

and the wild boars too. i screamed a lot. of course. =.=

the wild boars were considered as good because they usually left us alone, only when we started to barbecue.

they stared at you like it's a must to feed them on =.=

got angry some more!! not cute and we won't surrender okay??!! we've got our rights to protect our food! *angry*

FOOD!! and it's too much for 6 people, definitely too much!!

this's what i always do when everyone is busy, SELCA!

either you selca , become a temporary photographer or walking here and there (to make yourself look busy) when others were busy.

this's to ensure that you won't being demanded to do/barbecue/prepare food, but merely enjoying the food.

this secret should be kept but i decided to spill the beans HAHAHA!

we slept around 12am. sweet and sound baybehhhh.

when we're dreaming, suddenly, we heard some weird sounds outside our room. like the sound of stumbling, kicking the chairs and chewing. *SCARY*
the line signal was very weak that we could hardly call the next door, there wasn't any connecting room.
until we're successfully to call each other, we agreed to sneak out a little to see what's actually happening.

DISASTER!!

we suspected these're all done by the WILD BOAR.
so we eventually knew that wild boars love eating polystrene icebox =.=
may god bless you so that you won't die. because this material could hardly digest. or maybe i should say it's IMPOSSIBLE to digest.

make sure you do not leave anything that can be chew outside the room. HAHA

on the way back, you can request the boatman to bring you to take a look at the seastack.
for ours, rm10/pax but for another boat, rm5/pax.
haggling is allowed of course. but we failed HAHA

the most famous seastack of all. looked like cobra not? actually it's really thin but from this angle, i can't tell. hopefully it won't topple.

hee told us that their boatman didn't explain much to them, just bring them around and got back.
but luckily ours did! he told us some stories and showed us the seastacks which might look like seahorse, a face and bla bla bla.
see, there's no free lunch in this world hehe.

i don't literally remember what happened that i actually have to refer to my organizer/planner LOL

at the beginning of JUNE, we went Bintulu to work.

Bintulu is one of the provinces in Sarawak, 630km from Kuching.

oh gosh, i'm just so gonna skip this part. too scary i don't even want to recall anything. not even a thing i consider memorable there EEWWW.

and i continued to work until the mid-June.

and FINALLY, my KK trip was right at the corner which meant i could finally meet my bf after 4 long months WOO.

but i will leave that for the next or even the next next blog post.

so this's the second consecutive year we went. but as a volunteer this year!

once touching down at Kuching from Kota Kinabalu, hee and me went home to pack some clothes and there we went.

super excited 'cause this's the first time ever of volunteering ourselves.

as usual, this event was held by Sarawak Tourism Board at Sarawak Cultural Village.
too good we got to join this event as a crew this year with free accommodation (One Santubong Resort) and meals.
and of cause, FREE SHOW! as long as you have done with your job, the rest of the time would be your free time. which meant you could do anything.

my yet-to wake up face. damn so sleepy.

and yup, together with the wrist bands.

this event had two sessions, noon sessions were some sorts of music workshops, night sessions were the concerts.
i love the workshop sessions. had a blast with myself and myself and myself there wtf.

at the first day, i had my duty at the morning shift while hee had hers at the noon shift.
which meant she would join the workshop herself, i would join the concert myself wtf T.T

i worked, she played. she worked, i played =.=

seriously, joining the concert yourself had nothing good, at all.
the bands were OHSUM but, nothing seemed just right when you joined concert yourself, no kidding!

so second night, hee actually had her duty in the night but she purposely changed it to the morning shift because the gang would be joining us for the concert woohoo!

something worth to mention, William, the guy next tent whom we knew last year during the RWMF event came over to join us again this year! he brought along another friend, Sheena.

had a blast with the gang. LOVE!

we partied until late since hee and me would be having night shift the next day!
and as usual, my period came all of a sudden wtf. i was in a real pain backed to the resort and too blessed jeff and raph purposely went to the 7-11 store at Damai Sentral just to get me the menstrual painkiller 3a.m. in the early morning.

they went home the next day, while hee and me still had to go on with our jobs.
as long as i have them around me, i could enjoy no matter in what circumstances.

finally, the fifth day of staying at One Santubong Resort, we would be home real soon!
after having our breakfast, we went to the Santubong Beach.
yes, the fifth day here, yet the first day we visited the Santubong Beach.
i couldn't swim. so it's time doing something vain LOL

went here so many times, yet i never see such crystal-clear water. lucky babies!

so something "FUN" happened when we're about to start engine heading back to Kuching.
hee drove to the lobby so i could check-out for our room.
all of a sudden, the car couldn't start wtf. we tried all sorts of ways just to make it start.
we went off after attempting few traditional jobs on the engine and we thought we could really reach Kuching safely, wtf the car died again at the Santubong Golf Club =.=
Raph and his grandpa went all the way up from Kuching just to pull the car back.
