Birthday Celeb 2.0

aiks! abandoned my blog for quite a while. no worries, i'm here again =)
yea, 31/10 was my birthday. and i have officially ended my teenage years *sob*
so since my girls and Jeff weren't in Kuching, i expected my birthday celebration would not be as happening as last few years but they proved me wrong =.=

*warning! wordy post.*

Ken went to Sibu to work right 1 week before my birthday and i knew he would not be able to celebrate my birthday together with me. kind of sad but yea, what to do =(
so as usual, hugging my lappie and watching TVD for the whole birthday eve. PLANNED and SETTLED.
at least the super HAWT Ian Somerhalder was there for me what! LOL.

tadaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! (taken by samsung s4, so blur =.=)
i was watching TVD halfway which it had to be doing with some villains and supernatural parts, making my adrenaline accelerated. Some more, the dogs outside my house kept on barking *unusual barks*, causing me to be very nervous.
i had got no choice but to pause the series and check what is happening outside.
and then i found this!

Kenny Chong!! and Bernard Khiew =.=
i had been receiving this kind of surprise ever since my 17th birthday, but i could hardly believe my eyes to see these 2 sweet guys right outside my house at 12a.m. sharp! holding a birthday cake <3
too surprise because i don't even expect! awwwwww........
i was at first thought Ken wasn't even in Kuching yet and then i saw him at my doorstep.
and every year i wore my pyjamas to take photos with my birthday cake wtf!!

seriously, i wasn't complaining. but this cake was way too sweet LOL
so on the 31st, my time had been all reserved by them! felt good when my time was all occupied.

my lovely lunch date!
had my birthday lunch at Sanga Japanese Restaurant. pretty good and i loved the food there.
this wasn't my first visit here, and i have always loved here.
they served really fresh and tasty sashimi. #imiss #iheart

salmon sashimi! oh dear, it tasted like heaven! so fresh..........
my Sanga noodle! strictly for beef lover like me. *slurp*
Ken's Suki Beef Bento. very beefy too. but the soup-based was different. both were considered nice for me.
very satisfied lunch. good food with my favourite guy!
it just didn't feel that right when all of my favourite people were away from hometown during my birthday because i had them all around last year. and i didn't expect even a little to have a date with him.
more than just a thank.

yup! our favourite high-tea place, Starbucks @ Plaza Merdeka to fix our coffee addicts.
i love watching the scenes outside from here, especially the enormous old cotton tree with lush green field accompanied by double espresso shots cappuccino. totally chilled and relaxed.
and the best of the best was when this guy footed all the bills ahahah!

it's dinner time! together with bryan and bernard. Fusion Grill @ Brighton Suqare.

mine: spicy ribs. bryan's : chicken cordon bleu
was kind of disappointing. big portion but the tastes weren't right.

my silly face with the guys.
the pizza was a big no no! the topping and the pizza crust could be separated wtf.
and the crust wasn't crispy at all.
i had been there for the second time. but hmmm, guess it would be hard for my third attempts.

all of a sudden, i saw a waiter holding a bouquet of flower walked towards me but due to my stupidity, i didn't really aware and continue to chit-chat with the guys.
not when he passed it to me. a total shock!!

shocked. totally shocked!
who doesn't love flowers? i love it! especially roses and lilies hehehe........
the guys wanted me to guess who actually gave this to me, and i failed. LOL.
it's Jeff!! he requested Bernard to order this for me. awwwwwwww!! sweetness overload.
so sorry you weren't in the answer because i swear this wasn't your thing. HAHAHA oops.
such a sweetheart of mine. i thought they lied me. so...............

i called and confirmed HAHAHA!

so i thought it's over and they would send me home after this, but nooooooo!
Bernard insisted to go to the Lighthouse for a drink. i kept on refusing because i didn't feel like drinking at all but ok, let him win for once.

countless bottle of beers to settle really freaked me out.#alcoholphobia! they thought i wasn't so conscious after some drinkings, therefore they kept on cheating to let me drink wtf. #whenagirldrinkswithtwoguys
i always think that celebrating birthday at restaurant/bar was kind of awkward when the birthday song played and everyone was staring at you. i  thought this wouldn't happen on me, yea, it happened HAHAHA

school flower =.= they had been calling me as school flower since few years ago and now they still did wtf HAHA!
grinned til so awkward............ so embarrassing when everyone was looking at me.
and i cut the cake. my third cake for my 20th birthday!! felt so loved by them hehe.
Bryan : so you thought it's all over right?
Me : *glared at him*
i looked around and i noticed a waiter carrying a wine glass filled with liquor inside walking towards me. i sensed and knew that i would be doomed!
whenever i drank beer and liquor at the same time, i could be really drunk and unconscious and experience severe hangover the next day.
but i just couldn't say noooooooooooo!

FLAMING LAMBORGHINI i knew it! my expression was damn so reluctant =.=
*ignore the guy behind LOL
survived!
i LITERALLY survived wtf. so again, out of any expectation, they really did surprise the hell out of me.
or maybe i did not expect, so everything turned out to be ultra great. they're just too hilarious!

the guys with the tequila shots!
it's not fun at all to let them see me get drunk slowly, so i pretended to go to toilet and ordered them the shots. gotcha!
more than just a happy word to prank them HAHAHA!!
btw, no driving when you drink ya! be safe and sound  to reach home okay?

BLESSINGS.........

the UPM girls shot a birthday video for me. receive lots of text from them. it's extremely heart-touching.
they're just too cute! they cut my cake on behalf of me HAHAHA! mad love!
and wan ying, she posted a photo collage of ours, with a caption "社会难得频率" (a girl hardly found with same frequency) and i felt so bad for leaving her/them T.T heart seriously breaks a little to see what they did for me.

actually cindy (Berjaya University) and Leslie (Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia) did the collage too but they posted them at instagram.

i hereby would really love to thank every single one of you who wished/celebrated my last day of being a teenager and my first day of stepping into adulthood with me.

i didn't know what did i actually do to earn so much love from them. all of the princessy treats! more than bless.....

A THOUSAND THANKS TO YOU ALL.
seriously a thank would not be enough. i just love everyone of you who were willing to spend time to make me happy. hee hee isn't the kind of person who will plan something for somebody, but she knew i would be kind of lonely here in Kuching so she actually thought of doing the collages for meeeeeeee!

I LOVE AND MISS YA ALLLLLLLLL!

sister carved this and wrapped it in a box nicely hahaha! so cute... BTW, A stands for Amelia.
Lots of Love,
Amelia xoxo

30 October 2013

Surprise! *love*

so another one fine afternoon again, after moving out all of my baggage from the former school, we had a small gathering before Bernard and me heading back to the hometown.

Date : 16th Oct 2013
Venue : Bangsar area

took a cab from LRT Bangsar to Bangsar Village, it cost around RM4.
we finally gave THREE LITTLE PIGS & THE BIG BAD WOLF a try, and yea, it is a western restaurant no doubt LOL located @ Bangsar Village.
FYI, they serve two different kinds of menus which from 9am-6pm, the menu calls THREE LITTLE PIGS, whereas from 6pm-11pm, it calls BIG BAD WOLF. I like how creative they are in naming this restaurant, making me so interested with it a lot. *excited*
three little pigs come out to rock 'n roll during the daytime, while the big bad wolf rules the night =D

insisted to take a photo here because the decoration made me feels like it is a storybook cover =p
internal cozy ambience.
so as the name called, pork is the specialty of this restaurant. it's conveniently located at the side entrance of Bangsar Village 1, or you can access via Village Grocer.
pretty enjoyed the lighting there before sunset. natural light surrounded you, creating a very comfortable atmosphere for us to chit-chat. but it's pretty dim when the Sun goes to sleep.
aha! here's the night session dine-in menu. the cover looks exactly like an old tale book. so simple yet it brings all the childhood memories up.
see! we both loved the menu. hey, it's for sell and it costs a lot wtf. forgot the price =.= a very unreasonable price though.
group photos before ordering =D
we had some tough times figuring out on what to order. for main course, they served a variety of pastas and burgers. of course, there're others but we're only interested with pastas and burgers because Leslie visited here a few times, and he introduced us the best he ever had tasted.
for the pastas, the prices are ranged from RM19 to RM27 while for the burgers, the prices are slightly higher, which are around RM24 to RM32.
so after deciding on what to eat, oh yeah, my favourite time of all, CAMWHORE =))))
Hee said we must took as many photos as possible before the sunset because the lighting was excellent HAHA

the camera didn't focus at me. but ah well, i thought it's better this way. lookin' better hahaha =p
Leslie & Hee Hee (small wife)!! Hee purposely wore a checked top with a plain singlet inside because she said she was so Leslie-styled that she must showed him, indeed!! haha.
Leslie & .. wow wait, who's that? lookin' so stunning wtf HAHA. As a big wife of his, i was so jealous to see Hee hugged him and i was like "I want I want I wan too!" and this's it! =p
Me & Cindy! she looked so reluctant idk why=.= and Bernard & me, i looked so reluctant, and indeed, very reluctant LOL.
so cheerful! *love*
our naughty shots! 'n i miss my girls heaps *sigh*
i think it's better for me to take photos with 'em because i looked tinier hehehe.
photo-booming level : 101%, it's so ugly wtf LOL

sorry i'd have to collage our dishes' photos as i don't want this post to be so lengthy because the main story is still yet to be blogged. so yea, i will be explaining the courses from top left!

The Wolf's Favourite Pasta (Hee) : RM27.
creamy spaghetti with smoked pork bacon, topped with a poached egg and small bacon bits. it wasn't really creamy so if you don't enjoy really creamy food, this's definitely your thing. but i would love it to be more creamy/milky/cheesy.

The Big Bad Burger (Cindy & Me) : RM28
juicy pork patty, smoked pork bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, hickory smoked BBQ sauce, served with fries and house salad. The pork patty was indeed juicy because of its fat content. and we all loved the golden-ish fries. the salad was kind of refreshing too for my liking.

Hawaiian hula Burger (Leslie) : RM26
juicy pork patty, sweet pineapple ring, deep fried onion ring,  lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, hickory smoked BBQ sauce, served with fries and house salad. so if you don't eat cheese, try this out. i love the combination of burger with pineapple ring!

Mighty Piggy Burger (Bernard) : RM24
juicy pork patty, fried egg, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, herbed mayo, served with fries and house salad. nothing much to describe, just the bacon part is different. a little too much mayo and i thought it covered the original taste of the pork patty.

us with the main courses respectively.
Bon Appetit!
my tam-jiak-face-yet-not-so-unglam shot i supposed =D
it's one of my favourite things i always loved to do to dine-in with them and gossip like it's the end of the world. i always think, i could find no one to replace such buddies. they're nasty most of the times and i could barely tell you their positive points but i changed my mind a little this time when i heard........................

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO AMELIA, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU~~~~~~~~~~~~~
the waiters sang, holding a birthday cake.

SHOCKED! DAMN SHOCKED AND SURPRISED!!! i swear i don't expect this at all. not even a little owhhhhhmiiigoshhhhhh!! and oh ya, it's for me of course *shy and blush*

oh look! how they amazed me. =D
stared at the cake a little while to really recover from my consciousness on what's actually happening.
such a blessed girl i could say!
my birthday cake! strawberry shortcake from Tedboy Bakery at Bangsar.
the 4-typical-steps when it's your birthday and there's a cake in front of you. make a wish, blow the candles off, cut the cake, and serve 'em!
my honey bees!! =*
LOL-ed at the wordings! haha! the cake was very tasty to my surprise. the texture was very tender and the moisture level was just perfect. the cream was a little bit soury and as a whole, it wasn't too sweet.
love love love 'em to the max!!
so after the very surprising moment, yup, we still headed for our dessert plan though we had just finished the whole cake haha. we're big eaters!! RAWR!!

dip 'n dip around Bangsar Village 1.
oh ya, bare the price alright? kind of pricey.
we're kind of bloating but still insisted to give it a try.
brownies crepe. RM 31 after GST. nothing much to comment, worth it o not, it's all depending on yourself because the chocolate sauce was quite ordinary i could say.

TO END THIS POST,

here's my really unglam eating shot =p
thanks and i am really grateful to have you guys to help me celebrate my birthday half month before, before we're all separated. i have got the most lovable buddies in the world. and oh cheers! no fake lizard, snake or cockroach this year damn so lucky. they gave me those extremely-unpleasant fake present last year and i really did scream the hell out of my lungs wtf =.=
i wish i can have all of you around tomorrow to celebrate my birthday again, but dejectedly, cant =(
i miss you all!!
